Frequently asked questions

Who should refrain from participating in cold water immersion?

Individuals with preexisting medical conditions should seek advice from their healthcare provider before engaging in cold water immersion.

What are the electrical specifications needed?

Our chiller operates with a standard 120V/60Hz power supply and requires a 15 amp circuit, commonly found in most households across the United States.

Is it suitable for outdoor use?

Certainly, while our tubs, chillers, and components are designed to withstand various weather conditions, we advise placing them in a covered or shaded location to optimize their efficiency and durability.

How frequently should the water be replaced?

Our sediment filtration system and integrated Ozone generator work continuously to remove sediment and bacteria. If the sanitation kit is utilized correctly, we suggest changing the water every 60 days or whenever the water becomes unclear. However, if a sanitation kit is not used, we advise changing the water every 1-2 weeks. Please note that these intervals may vary based on usage patterns.

What is the estimated setup time?

Setup takes just 15 minutes with our plug-and-play system! Inflate the tub, connect the two hoses from the water chiller to the inlet and outlet on the tub, fill it with water, plug in the chiller, and you're all set to enjoy!

Will I comfortably fit in the plunge?

Our tubs are slightly larger than those offered by our competitors, providing ample space for comfortable use. Individuals up to 6'4" tall and weighing 280 lbs should have no trouble fitting their entire body and head underwater!

What maintenance tasks are necessary?

Maintenance involves a monthly filter cartridge replacement and a weekly water checkup.

Is it permissible to use chlorine or Epsom salts?

Under no circumstances should chlorine or Epsom salts be used, as they can corrode the inner components of the water chiller.

What is the lowest temperature the water can reach?

Our powerful chiller can reach temperatures as low as 37.4°F when paired with proper insulation and optimal surrounding conditions.

What is the power consumption of the chiller?

You can anticipate spending about $0.50 to $1 per day on electricity, depending on the ambient temperature and electricity rates in your area.

Should the chiller be covered?

Protection from the elements: It's best to keep the unit under a covered patio or structure to protect it from direct weather exposure.

Chiller ventilation: If you're covering the chiller, make sure there's proper ventilation to avoid overheating.

Electrical cord protection: If you're using an extension cord, be sure to use a weatherproof connection box to safeguard the connection.
